Registered in September 2020 and launched in February 2021, the Alliance is made up of seven member associations drawn both private sector and civil society players in the sector with a total membership of over 1,000 members.

SEPAN’S vision is tied to Nigeria’s sustainable development drive and seeks to promote sustainable energy development agenda for Nigeria and ultimately be a major player in the global renewable energy mix.
The association is devoted to boosting access to clean energy services by ensuring its sustainable growth in Nigeria’s energy mix and attracts investors to the sector as well. Further, they are aiming to build capacities among the RE actors and to develop research and related studies that are focused on the situation and applicability in the Nigerian context.
